Past and Present
1917
The factory for smoked and canned meat products was founded in Kostelec..
1992
Establishment of the joint-stock company Kostelecké uzeniny.
1994
Cold production of salamis started.
1995
Reconstruction of the canning plant was completed. Construction of the new poultry slaughterhouse was completed. Operation of the re-distribution warehouse in Česká Lípa was commenced.
1996
Construction of the new cattle and pork slaughterhouse was completed. Construction of the biological waste water treatment plant was completed. Construction of the sorted waste incineration house was completed.
1998
Obtaining certificates for export to EU. Construction of the new distribution area was completed.
1999
The Poultry CZ 966 Plant – annex building to the packaging plant and poultry meat distribution area.
2000
Operation of the re-distribution warehouse in Stará Ves by Ostrava was commenced. Investment incentive from the government to build a new meat processing plant.
2001
Extension to cold production of salamis. The Poultry Plant – annex building for semi-finished production.
2002
Slaughterhouse CZ 100 Plant – annex building for meat-carving and packing plants and cloakrooms. Poultry CZ 966 Plant – construction of a carving plant and 2 cloakrooms.
2003
Operation of the re-distribution warehouse was commenced in Dýšina by Pilsen. At the end of the year, AGROFERT HOLDING, a.s., the majority owner of Maso Planá a.s. and Masna Studená a.s. as well, purchased 34% of stock of Kostelecké uzeniny a.s. from Maso uzeniny, the trade cooperative Kostelec. Thus, good conditions for integration and specialisation in production and processing of meat and meat products were created.
2004
At the beginning of the year, permission to set up a trade agency in Russia was obtained. The first stage of construction of the new meat-processing production was completed. The current total area of the Kostelecké uzeniny premises amounts to 155.777 m².
2005
The building of the New Meat Production - Kostelecké uzeniny a.s. won the award of the Prestigious Building of Vysočina 2004 in the category of the Industrial and Agricultural Constructions.
2006
At the beginning of the year, permission to export to the Russian Federation and follow-up certification of the products quality in the CZ 333 and CZ 966 plants were granted.
